When A Good Stallion Goes to War

      The flames fly above my head, followed by distant boom sounds. The enemy was firing, cannons a blaze. I peek my head out to see many hoof-soldiers heading our way.

       "Fall back!" I heard my sergeant say. I firing a bolt of flames before turning and running. We ran like hell, all the way back to the base where everypony met to defend.

        We won the battle that day, and I was sent home for a while. I came home to horrible sight. My friend looked at me with an angry look, flames in his eyes.
I simply shrugged it off, not thinking much of it. As I entered my home, my wife hoof-slapped me. She started yelling about something I had done, before she threw me out.

         About a week later, I was shipped back to duty. The very same day we were moving out to regain land. We came across an abandoned town. We were told to search, but I had no idea what I would find.

         I came across a house in which I heard a baby crying for help. I burst into the door to see an enemy soldier, with his hand ablaze, ready to shoot a bolt of fire at the crying foal that was at his side.

         "Hey...put your hoof down, and we can forget about this. You don't have to die...." I tried to reason. He have me a smirk, then, did the unthinkable. He shot fire right at the foal, burning it alive. I ran at him, punching and punching, smashing his skull in.

         I walked over to the foal. It was burnt and dead. It looked like it was in much pain before it died. But you could imagine it. I walked outside, feeling regret and a loss of hope. I places my hoof to my head as a single tear rolled down my face. Then, I was burning.
